After months of work on this double wide gate, it is finally ready to be painted and installed.
The finished product will be flat black with the tree in the front. The vines and leaves will be in the back. Unfinished milled cedar planks will slide in between the two layers to complete this gate.
Because the steel for the tree design had to be thin (3/16”) to reduce the weight, it was cut on a CNC plasma burning table. I had it cut automatically from my own Awesome Design.
I will post pictures when it is finally installed in its place. You can also come check it out in the spring 2016 when the Whaletown Garden Centre reopens on Cortes Island, BC.
